How Health Professionals Can Be Change Makers

In this free to join Change Maker event, we are proud to have the opportunity to interview Dr. Shireen Kassam about her life and work as a plant based health pioneer and the part she is playing in putting a lifestyle medicine approach to the top of the health agenda.

Shireen is a Consultant Haematologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College Hospital, London with a specialist interest in the treatment of lymphoma. She is a passionate advocate of the value of plant-based nutrition for the prevention and reversal of chronic disease and for maintaining optimal health after treatment for cancer. 

In 2018, Shireen founded Plant-Based Health Professionals UK, a non-profit, membership organisation whose mission is to provide evidence-based education on whole food plant-based nutrition. In January 2021, she co-founded and launched Plant Based Health Online, the UK's first regulated, plant-based, lifestyle medicine healthcare service.
